The real issue comes down to moderation. Tower has mods that home in and destroy trolls, while /vt/ has mods that encourage trolling. Technically all of these nimi catalog posts would be in violation of board rule 3 and global rule 3, but no one gives a damn anymore, not even the mods. I don't care if I get called a rulesfag or whatever but it used to be that if you wanted an anarchy board where anything goes, you'd go to /b/ or maybe /trash/.
