To answer your question though, I do get what you mean. His screams and whines make me just want to tease him some more, just to hear him get more whiny. He definitely brings out a certain side of me (that I knew was already there.)
There's also times though, especially when he gets bullied by others, like his chat, about certain things, that all I want to do is lay down on the couch with him and gently comfort him with hugs. I can see a lot of my younger self (which is concerning as he's 27) in him when he talks about being introverted and women.
I just want to cuddle him...
