This is a place of sacrifice, anon.
There are three states of existence, you know, anon. Life or Death, Dreaming or Waking, and Physical or Astral.
Most life exists as a particular pair, Life/Waking/Physical, or L/W/P. There is also the state where you dream, L/Dr/A. As you dream, you enter the Astral plane and leave the Physical, until you come back.
When you die, you become De/Dr/A, as your soul goes back to the dreaming world it came from. But there are some people who exist in a different way than me or you. The people who exist like Mumei. The people whose existences have been swapped. Those who exist in a natural state of L/W/A, or those who live in the Astral Realm. But when she sleeps, her mind doesn't go to the astral realm like we do when we dream. Instead, she dreams in the Physical realm, and becomes L/Dr/P.
In order for her to be here, she needs to take on a body. And the only way for her to do so? Is to become one of you, to turn you into a vessel.
What do you think this is, anon? The infection that starts when you see her... The dreams of demons, of prophetic doom... Eventually, your body starts to change... Your face caves in, as you become faceless first, then become a true cavern, an indent in your head...
And that indent is what allows Mumei to take you over, and stream again. So become the sacrifice, anon. Let her out of the Dreamsleeve.
