He didn’t say that parasocialism is bad.
He straight up said it’s good, that every vtubers (and content creators does it) and that the vtubing industry banks on it.
He used picrel to illustrate how vtubers have to pander to parasocial relationships while not going too deep and attract crazy fans. That’s a pretty reasonable take and it’s very very rare to see someone say that.
