>>14589565>>14589821On one hand, I agree that there has to be some kind of a high risk-high reward mechanic in place. Something you could put a lot of your wealth into, and win or lose it all.
That being said, I'm not sure if multicoin is the right idea here. If you remove the taxes and buff it to 10x or more, it'll solve the problem but only temporarily. As wealth amasses, people will be forced to rely on dividends once again.
Additionally, I see a lot of people that still are making mistakes when assessing multicoin viability, meaning that it's not 'solved' yet, or at least not commonly.
>>14589919That is true. Multibuy can still be viable, be it for large drops or long-term positions. I think I witnessed a situation where 2x multisell would have been profitable exactly once, and even then the smarter thing to do would be to hold the coin and sell slowly.
>>14589825This just boils down to huge amount of coin volume with very low profit marigins from either dividends or swing trading. If someone plays okay-ish and you play perfectly (not implying I do, far from it), you will have minimal edge over them. The wealth gaps are so large right now that it's nigh impossible to rise that way... which defeats the point of the game and leads to people seeking alternate goals (oshiboards, real oshiboards, hats, supers, item collecting, coin amount goals etc.).
