it also resonates more with chammers doing it because she was known for the most godawful cooking cams known to man, like ja/ck/ tier, so throwing a spider into the mix kind of fit the bill for her thing there. if a chuuba wasn't known for cooking/eating odd things eating a spider is more of just a "look at me!!!!" stunt. granted it was exactly this for haachama but again, one of her most major themes was "gross food" so it was just an escalation of her existing content.
