During the heigh of the Omega reign it seemed like they won, and the holostarEN years were the darkest hour for the holofaction, and there was a real fear of "nijification".
However they kept taking the L over and over, losing terrain, until the black screen stream came and it was absolutely over for them.
Now nijien might soon no longer exist, and my guess is that the fandom /here/ will revert to its state pre NijiEn state, which was civil war.
My prediction is that the peko -homo war will happen all over again with new actors, the term "nijisisters" will disappear from the public consciousness and the boogieman will become the "/mans/isters" instead. The human condition is strife.
