While I don’t think humans are solitary in nature, it’s still an image that many people idolizes if the popularity of archetypes like lone wolves and alpha/sigma males is of any indication. I think Belyms’ group mentality might well mean that these archetypes don’t exist in their popular culture (or rather, seen as something unusual, if not outright horrifying). I guess even though Belyms are heavily based on possums, their disposition might end up being more similar to rodents when it comes to stereotypes (or maybe it’s just that rats and mice have a bigger presence in culture than possums)
