>>45727978Before I get into it, I love Towa and Aqua but they were quite possibly the most overhyped team ever. Anyways, there's a ton of reasons so I'll just bullet point them.
>Lack of tourney experienceSelf explanatory, but yeah. Towa was the only one with team play experience before, and even then she's generally less experienced than her usual teammates like Selly or Bora Nun.
>Suisei is practically newShe wasn't bad, but she was being tossed into the deep end of the pool on day 1, on a map she had never seen before because it had been out of rotation for a while. To be fair though, the point system wouldn't have allowed for anyone much better/experienced, if you had Laplus or something instead it would have been the same.
>No coach/limited coachingI think Suisei had her own coach and they didn't stream much of it so they might have had more coaching, but still they were very lacking in coaching. While most teams were getting pointers and learning the entire time, StartEnd was not, or at least was not receiving instruction to the level other teams were.
>Towa had too many responsibilities Towa was basically shotcaller, coach and was also on Gibby, a role she's not thrilled about. Aqua was running around like they were in pub lobbies and Suisei needed guiding, it was all probably too much for her. Towa has done better in tournaments where she only has one role (Gibby usually), this time she did way worse.
I think that's the main points and it's already long so I'll just leave it at that. None of them are bad, but it was a poor showing for a first time team for obvious reasons. Towa should do much better with her current team, and Aqua could have improved if she had any interest in trying again.
