If you absolutely NEED to take the metro, wear a fanny pack INSIDE of a hoodie. Keep your cash, wallet, phone, and passport in there. Make sure your shit fits loose too, otherwise they'll know you're hiding stuff. Have a 'decoy' bag if you can. A larger suitcase filled with useless shit like your clothes and what not that can be replaced. If you're bringing a laptop or electronics, keep them in a messenger back on your body at all times.
