Yes, I'm a Sapling and I LOVE numbers. I spent years and years trying to find an objective meaning to our life and yet I always end up finding a cacophony of contradictions and unfairness. Life is a small miracle born from a 0,01% percentage and yet the universe seems bent on crushing it, and it will manage to do it. Our bodies are a complex machinery created by chance, an engineering masterpiece, yet they are so fragile that a 0.1% percent margin of error will result in a life of agony and illness. Good and evil seems absolutely arbitrary no matter what kind of lense you choose.
And then you have numbers, mathematics, everything is absolutely perfect, everything makes sense despite the overwhelming complexity of their nature, everything can be broke down in small units of gorgeous simple wholeness. I love numbers, and I have a feeling that Fauna is just like me. She's the missing mathematical unknown in my life, and as a living equation I can't help but feel compelled to complete myself. I love Fauna and I love numbers.
