In fact it's the same with facecam streamers too actually. They are "putting on an act" by conciously projecting their voice/psuedo-voice acting, but as they get more practiced, comfortable and secure in their careers it becomes second nature. It's the same difference in voice you have when you're giving a presentation to a class vs talking animatedly with your friends.
This is especially weird for Pippa to say considering her voice started lower pre-Phase, to high when tryharding in year 1, to low again after she made it.
