To me Daiya is kind of a goofy friend who could be the popular person, but her passion for things outside the mainstream forever curse her to be on the fringes. She's friendly, funny, but has a serious streak that you can't help but admire.
Her vibe reminds me of Ember Amane (chill, alt-girl) mixed with Kirsche Verstahl (can switch between vulgar tomboy to all-woman in a heartbeat, minus the political aspect).
