From all the way back in the relatively older days of Flare for Noel, Kanata for Coco, and more modern ones, like "NOT for S" or "Moona for Pekora." All retarded, of course, since each girl has had their own fans who enjoyed them for quite a long time before, during and after their collaboration content.
I now find one exception. One holo that was quite literally only recruited to be supporting, not active naturally.
I am fully convinced that Zeta was recruited into Hololive solely to be an onahole for her collab partners. While I don't think this means she's bad, not at all, I think her being good solo is merely a side bonus to supplement her true role: being a cocksleeve to every collab partner in Hololive.
Look at every collab Zeta has had with an EN, you can tell. They use her for pleasure, and she gives them that pleasure in excess. It's the perfect symbiotic relationship.
