I know that making the actual gun won't be the hard part for Koyo, but rather the ammunition. Aside from the primer, she'll need the slug, brass casing and powder, which would be pretty hard to gather the materials for even with the required knowledge (but as you said, easier to make). I have a scene in mind where Koyori will be complaining to Anon that ammunition is hard to make and she had to waste it all in order to defeat him.
Speaking of primers, I have a really dumb (but plausible in theory), DMC-level bullshit idea for a scene where someone doesn't have a gun and only ammo, so he throws a bullet into the air and hits the primer really hard with the tip of his sword to ignite it. This scene doesn't really belong to any story I'm writing, but I'd like to insert it into a story someday.
