>>30206375. I kind of just explained there why I drew the original the way I did but I did it with a somewhat defiant attitude because I was pissed off at the time.
I kinda made it sound like I don't want to change the way I draw when I was just kinda annoyed at the reaction I got from that one guy for drawing as I'm used to.
So I kind of invited comments like "it's just not your style and that's fine" which actually kind of annoy me.
A style isn't set in stone and doesn't just happen. I can change things up if people try to explain why something irritates them, or maybe give me some advice on how to better visualize and implement how an anime artstyle should look.
For instance, subjectivity about style aside and all the one sane style-related criticism I didn't get and the reason why I decided to change the drawing after all would have been: The more "realistic" looking Gura and the not so well drawn anime face Shion look strange being in the same picture, which might make Gura stand out negatively even if there's nothing objectively wrong with the way she's drawn on her own.
By the way, I don't think the "your style is too "muscular" for loli" point some people brought forward is true.
There are good loli artists who draw their characters with very pronounced physical features like benantoka or kuroboshi.
Anyway , personally I could think of quite a few things to critcize and fix. Here's some of it implemented.
