https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wDANuERULRc>>97230039The best things about Pokemon is anything, except for the horrendous pacing that it's associated with.
I remember talking to one of my friends who dropped the game when he was a child, and I found out that your enjoyment of the game apparently has to do with the way your brain works.
>Your left side of the brain controls language, logic, and analytical thinkingYou'll either turn into an autistic nuzlocker, or someone who doesn't understand why Pokemon became so popular for being so boring.
>Your right side of the brain is associated with creativity, imagination, and spatial processingYou'll view the series through a lens of curiosity. Pokemon is about the exploration of an unknown world, its creatures and the people you meet along the way.
>>97231133I can actually explain it. This is what Matsuda wanted from the players when he explained its creation.
Pokemon was like his early days of going out into the wild and catching bugs from various forests around his hometown. That is an activity that died off as buildings became more prominent and going out alone unsupervised became more dangerous as times went by. So he created Pokemon as a way for newer generations to experience what that feeling was like.
