Like people said here, it’s always gonna get muddy because the reality is that the EN fanbase is widespread and cannot exist in the same facet as JP does with being able to consistently watch streams live, so there absolutely is a large chunk of people who watch the vod. And of course, you can’t -exactly- tell who’s a vod watcher and who’s being processed, but I’ll give you my insight and tell you that TYPICALLY by hour 8, what you often see with “processed” waves of views simply comes to a stop. I’d be very much willing to say that once those views come to a crawl, those are the ones catching up on the vod and not long lost views of the original stream.
It’s not false that most of the views come from the live vod itself. That’s true across the board, but it’s more a question of how much of the viewership comes from live views and what comes from vod watching. I’d be willing to guess that at the very least, 65-70% of Gura’s view tally within 24-48 hours is strictly from the live vod itself, with the rest coming from views collected after the fact
