If they're like me, it's because they don't actually want to watch people play games and only watch vtubers for the girls.
JP also have very little time to play games, let alone watch people play games, so that may be a factor.
It is fact, only third-world, poorfag children want to watch people play games, for they cannot afford games themselves and their parents forbid them from playing games (I'd show you a screenshot as proof but it's on my phone).
