If so, what held her back from fueling the flames?Niji burning is one thing, but really her focus was always on just being able to start over and make friends again. It really sucks because she's similar to Matara in that she wants to be a social butterfly that's friends with everybody, and she WAS that pre-niji (picrel), but after Niji torched her reputation and destroyed her mentally, she became paranoid and started seeing enemies everywhere. Granted there WERE still people trying to hurt her, but she started seeing EVERYBODY as an enemy to be avoided or concerned about. She knows and has commented on this, as well as how she's working to fix it.
She knows that being stuck in the past does nothing but hurt her, and she's been working hard to distance herself, work on self improvement through therapy and medication, and truly try to move on from it as best as she can.

After Niji, he completely cut contact and refused to support her in any way. Completely ghosted her. However, when Doki had her termination, he immediately jumped into the fray with a bunch of stories about Niji and how bad they were, and started trying to weasel his way into Doki's inner circle.
During the kenji drama, him and quinin only started showing direct support for Kenji once Sayu got involved, in direct opposition to her, and specifically criticizing her. They're vile.
