>>2684355 >Not sure how far back you'll be going, but I've always been curious what hololive was like back in the beginning when it was just gen 0 - 1. What types of streams were they doing? Who was the most popular at the time? What caused them to start blowing up in Japan? Any yabs?Good question. At the time Hololive (and Vtubing) was VERY different. Vtubing was mainly short form videos that were edited, think early Kizuna Ai. The most popular Vtubers at the time were not anything like the Vtubers we have now. Vtubing was a side job, that's why most of the early gens had actual jobs or school because some of them were literal children. Gen 3 really caused Hololive and vtubing as a whole to blow up because they introduced the format that we are more familiar with now, long zatsudans or gaming streams, a more intimate back and forth with the fans through live chat etc.
>>2684786Kanata and Suisei are mutual admirers of each other because they are both talented singers. Kanata and Coco live in an apt complex, and Suisei and her sister live on the same floor. This is referred to as the Holohouse and it was Coco's idea. Many Holos also live close to the Holohouse and stop by, even off stream.
>>2684789A literal child when she was hired, had to spend lockdown in Australia due to the pandemic hitting when she was at school, unironic inferiority complex when Coco and then later EN arrived. Also Cover sucks and keeps squashing her ideas.
>>2684878Webm related. Yeah, Cover did not like that.
>>2684906One of her first posts was a drawing which people instantly recognized from her roommate's twitter. Her roommates twitter had just followed all of Gen 5's roommates recently. She doxxed the whole Gen on Day 1.
