You know, the Almond Karaoke made me realize what I like in vtubers (or rather "v-idols"). It's the chemistry and interactions between them. Sure, the solo streams are as important, as they establish the talent individually, but if all they do is solo streams, they are not much more interesting then any other streamer or content creator, and now they have to compete at much harder playing field. It's a weird form of Slice-of-Life animes for me, if that makes sense.
So that kinda makes me worried about Vesper, since he probably decided to grab an opportunity to grow as individual talent (songs, maybe even preparation for 3d) , but he does that at the detriment of his interaction with others, especially the new guys. It's not like the boys won't accept him 'back', I'm just worried that he will enter a doom spiral of self-loathing and distance himself even more out of shame. I hope to be wrong.
