There's no common culture, no expectation of professionalism, no standards if you look at indie vtubers and other trash getting sponsorships because and say it's a good thing because "everyone is getting paid and vtubing is expanding".
That's like saying, your town is getting overrun by grifters and con artists, but you should be happy because it just means "your town is expanding". You see how that logic is bad? I can go into more detail, if you want.
