Even with all these secondaries GW still makes more money than the entire UK fishing industry off of plastic sales alone (not a joke) compared to every other IP that makes most of it's money off of the media related to it. In 2024 they made 494.7 million #s off of plastic and only 31.0 mill of of licencing. Because of that GW has a vested interest in making sure the people who actually buy the plastic keep spending all of their disposable and some of their non disposable income on plastic as opposed to just selling as many games and books as possible. If GW takes a major hit it would be a major hit to the entire UK economy and most of their profit comes from people who feel the same way we do. I am sure if this is bad then there is no way they will be able to keep that licence without spending enough on it to supplement the cut the the UKs GDP.
