Otsonny!! Back on the racetrack today with one of the collabs of all time, it was indeed a mess but it was a more fun mess than some other big collabs. I can't believe they actually did a couple of test races before stream, this isn't the scuffsanji I know! After taking 20min to do a soundcheck for 12 people things instantly devolve into chaos as soon as we're in-game. Love vox but it's almost amazing how much his presence unintentionally dominates collabs of any size, i don't know if it's the voice, soundboard, bantz or a mix of all three but at least he's funny. His malding makes me laugh especially when he'd start shitting on kyo unprompted. Ike was also great today, I kind of forget how funny he can be in collabs sometimes and hearing him yell about not being able to aim and getting targeted by rngesus made me laugh, also the part where sonny squished tiny aiku right before the finish line.......... Sonny was cute in his own right, although him talking shit and instantly getting hit is not exclusive to his solo streams and we saw a lot of that here, this goddamn jobber. He also isn't always the most extroverted in big collabs but I feel like his precious laughter and reactions to shenanigans is an invaluable addition to the lineup, i like how he tends to go along with others' jokes/references/singing and his outraged response to Kyo talking about birdo's DSL was hilarious. Luca was, not unexpectedly, a sandbagging troll in this stream and shu was surprisingly good? Luxiem's true strength is kart racing, nrhd. I'm also happy I got to witness some classic rainbow road chaos in this stream. After some traditional driftin' they finished off with the battle modes, which aren't as competitive/hilarious as racing (in my opinion) but are still fun in their own right, and it is also here that sonny finally got a crown on his uglycute mii's little head, of course he finally wins when bombs are involved. This was a pretty fun collab, not as overwhelming as I expected it to be once we got past the obligatory introductory mess. Surprisingly despite the yelling I do not think enough friendships were destroyed from this infamous party game (although poor tired uki sounded pretty done at times kek), we'll get em next time. I'm also glad Sonny could get everything sorted out with his router so he could have fun with everyone! I really hope he gives smash/marika with viewers another shot in the future. >>45185278Honestly I get it, he came back from an essentially unannounced break, had one normal week, then a collab week and more collabs with no schedule in two weeks now. Some of the collabs have been fun and he's had some great solo streams too which I'm grateful for but it's not wrong to just want a return to normal streaming. Hopefully he can finish up whatever he's been busy with soon so we can see what he's been cooking, and also that it starts cooling down a bit in the land down under ASAP.
