They're considered somewhat pretentious but mostly helpful and aren't seen as a threat at all, given their physical frailty. But then they have this whole murder-suicide cult hidden underground. I wanted to give their society a dark fairytale sort of vibe, since Ike is a novelist with yandere tendencies.
