For one, I would never be born, because my family came to America from Italy after the War, because Truman said a soldier's family could come with him. If the War never happened, they never would've gone to America, my father never would have been born, and neither would I. God knows how many tens of millions of people, nay, hundreds of millions of people, wouldn't exist if the past didn't play out as it did.
Meanwhile, if I go steady with my oshi, the past isn't changed. I don't play God, and alter human history so irrevocably that only God himself knows what could happen as a result.
Therefore, it's only morally correct that I date my oshi and treat her right.
