and even suggest just VPN-ing "home". A lot of routers these days have OpenVPN built in, and properly secured you can just VPN "back home" when you're out of the house
and do silly shit like VNC/RDP into a running computer to adjust zhonkbot from a thousand miles away. Or turn your connected lights on and make them strobe to mikoboat to fuck with your neighbors...If it's just a DNS block and your phone is new enough

https://files.catbox.moe/jhccbu.webm>>22867113You can't just stick it in there on a phone for mobile data, and IIRC on iOS it's a royal pain in the ass even for Wi-Fi. At least with Android 9 you can set a system-wide DNS over TLS setting that will apply on all mobile and Wi-Fi networks.
