I don't deny that there are fans that feel parasocial towards their chuubas, but this form of media still promotes social interaction with the entertainer in form of chats, tts messages, redeems, community messages, etc.
It's a social setting comparable to a workplace. However, streamers do have ways to limit the amount of social interaction as they can change the chat settings (follower only, emote only, etc). But that's already kind of tangential, I guess.
