I don't mind people utilizing square brackets or list because from testing let me stress that it is very easy to botch plain text as funny as that sounds. Rewording slightly affected not only personality but how a character might speak.
I personally use SBF and only do plain when trying to practice my own writing or working on shit like the Lob Corp card.
