>>62219597This is also a good point, for Vox's own personal growth. Regret comes from guilt, and in order to let go of guilt one has to acknowledge their own actions that lead to the outcome which produced the guilt. He does not need to be defined by his past but real healing doesn't start until one becomes mindful of one's own sins & demons and learns to be better than them. Admittedly though it's ultimately up to him if he wants to share that. Maybe given enough time he'll admit to it: it took a lot for my uncle to confess to his daughter that at one point he was so addicted to meth that he almost sold something he had bought for her as a baby, if not for my aunt intervening and teaching him how to pray. 15 years he held onto that guilt until he mustered up the courage to tell her, heart to heart, and she forgave him. The man's the most devout person I know today.
>>62219613This is a good mantra to live by, thank you for sharing, I think I'll adopt it as well =w= I saw a few videos when introspecting on the growth mindset and it echoes quite well that those that find success, fulfillment, and happiness never stop growing and always look forwards while learning from past mistakes.
