I have been following vtubers since before this board was made, when it was just a niche /jp/ thing. At first the thing worked because of the extreme dedication to kayfabe and how hard the companies enforced the girls to not be useless whores.
But that is over, vtubers exposed their real selves, being just ethots with anime skin.
I hope next year we have a new xmas miracle and AI vtubers completely disrupt the market. At least the 3DPD still have the voice advantage (for now) so they will have to get serious about competing.
