If I had to make a guess though it was probably the moment she decided to take streaming as seriously as she could. On stream she seems careless but she's likely very critical of the things she does. Plus she has a habit of exercising after stream which would give her an opportunity to examine what she did right or what she didn't think worked without any distractions. I think she realized that leaning into GFE wouldn't move her stream in the upward direction she wants to go in. It would give her a boost initially, but it would strangle her growth long-term. She's smart enough to know she has a chance to propel herself further than other vtubers/streamers and she's not afraid to take risks with her finances in order to see that happen. She doesn't want to get complacent. Treating her chat like a surrogate boyfriend is a comfortable course of action, but she doesn't want to be comfortable. She wants to fly.
