It was mainly because Vei mae some comments about how she wasn't a fan of Cover and idol culture. Holofags misinterpreted that (as they often do) to mean that she disliked Hololive in general, including the talents. As such, Nyanners went into this collab super nervous (from all the surrounding drama) and pretty much held back the entire collab.
