It’s meant to be a Zeli reference (though inspired by that one comment about raiding deluxe slime a few threads ago) so at least some of the slime should be sentient, but at the same time I don’t really know what to do with them if they’re actually sentient especially since the biology’s so different from humans
I imagine the slime blobs are blue-ish because of how Zeli looks. Maybe the color comes from all the metal they’ve absorbed from the soil? I read that that plant with nickel sap has blue sap due to all the nickel. Size-wise it varies a lot depending on the state of the mycorrhizal network but personally I imagine an average blob to be like a gallon or two big so just barely small enough to be carried like a fat cat! It’s probably solid enough to be carried without breaking apart but you can probably still break them if you try
I don’t intend them to be dangerous so they won’t melt you but falling unconscious in them might not be a good idea. Alternatively I might make them fully benevolent and have the slime accelerate healing and helping against infections if you’re buried in them and the slime accepts you, but given how mycorrhiza works I feel the process would also change you permanently
