Vtuber streams are still more influenced by Japanese Broadcasting and the early days of edited video production. This carried over to EN too and even to NijiEN when they came over from Twitch.
To each his own style, but you can unironically say that vtuber streams are of a slightly higher quality than regular Twitch streams.
