If you're gonna work for some shitty low-tier firm and you're fine with being stuck in consulting for life then okay sure but never ever ever work for a tier 1 firm.
It's fucking awful.
Working at this shitstain of a firm has been the biggest mistake of my last 2 years and I've despised every moment of it.
If you wanna work in IT (be it development or otherwise) take a job that pays less but is actually a designated software engineer/data scientist/etc position and then after 3 years move for a promotion and you'll be making more than the shitty consultant who've been stuck on business strategy or project management or BA work and can't find a job outside of the field.
Consulting is actually a trap and you should not fall for it. You will regret it. Don't do it.
I had an offer that paid less years ago and took a consulting one instead. I regretted not taking it. You will too.
