I liked Remi's stream. Her knowledge of all things weeb is vast and she should properly and fully utilize it to her benefit. That's a kind of niche she could fill and that's needed in Phase. Be it reviews or introducing us to something we don't know about. Anime and manga and everything in-between offers her ample material she could use for these kinds of streams. It could be her hidden strength, an untapped potential. I likewise enjoyed her streams with Hina and think that they should continue collabing until they fully click. On that note I caught a few of Hina and Runi's streams and while they're a tad too calming for my tastes (I am most comfortable within Panko and Shiina levels of energy, Lia for instance is too energetic for me) I think both girls are doing a good job so far. They clearly have much to learn and there's ample room to develop, but they will and do need time and experience for this. Both appear quite green to me. In general I think they have solid foundations.
Back to Remi - I haven't seen anyone mention this, but Remi has improved greatly when it comes to her zatsu skills and generally in her verbal skills. She's a lot quicker with her quips and tongue and her words now flow freely and naturally, as a reflex, without thinking. This showcases her development as a chuuba and is a very tangible proof of her abilities and efforts. Given that the girl is a grinding machine despite all odds against her this development pleases me. Her constitution is quite weak sadly. She gets sick so often it's heartbreaking to watch but there's nothing that can be done about it. This however just makes her stubbornness and persistence all the more admirable. Out of all our girls I'm hardpressed to find another that is so consistently streaming despite the odds against her (illnesses, third world infrastructure). Despite these handicaps she keeps going, and it is my great hope to see her efforts rewarded. I'd like to see her fully use her entire weeb knowledge and proclivities in her future streams. She's so thoroughly unique that it takes a special kind of fan to become invested in her, so something as obvious as anime/manga streams could draw in more people towards her. The more people know of Remi the better for her, and for that reason I also encourage her to collab both within Phase and outside if possible. The more proactive she is the better for her in the long run. She's a good girl and deserves our support.
As a side note, Pankocchi has been on a gloriously upward trend for a while now, and she has managed to push herself even further forward. She improved her already great skill once more, and her whole arc from the very beginning until now has been a delight to witness and support. She's grown into not only her role but in general in the grander scheme of vtubing. She's beginning to shine beautifully as her own self, as Panko, as a chuuba with her own culture and gravitas. If she continues like this she will fully establish herself, and barring any particularly retarded woman moments or yabs I see this as inevitable. I wish I could smell and kiss her feet.
Shiina has been consistently great since the start. The various complaints Anons threw at her at the start regarding this or that never vibed with me in the slightest. To me she has always been really good, from the very start, and by now she has fully developed and blossomed. I'm enjoying the Crab Princess arc, her little arts 'n' crafts streams, everything. She truly hit her stride. As mentioned she was always good in my eyes - and now she just got even better.
Uruka is something of a little discovery for me and my one regret is that I wasn't there from the start. My issue is that she streams at such a weird time for me. Due to my perpetual nightshifts I can watch the girls live, but from my POV Uruka starts streaming roughly between 04:00 - 05:00, and my shift ends at 07:00. Meaning, I lose a whole chunk of her stream because I need to get my ass home, and if I need to do another shift when I get home I simply need to get to sleep ASAP and thus miss quite a bit. A shame. Her sense of humor and her energy really appeal to me. I adore her voice, her music, and the way she acts. It's all so charming and feminine. She lacks the male eye to recognize her own appeal in such things. Her presence is warm, inviting, comforting and softly yielding yet not mushy or suffocating. She is like moist fertile earth. I can see why younger guys tease her with the Mommy thing, but to me she appears more like an onee san because many of my older female cousins acted that way and had the same energy back when I was a kid. This results in a paradoxical situation where I see her as an onee san while being perfectly aware she's at least a decade younger.
