Arguing about the merits of either company and only using the non-JP branches as reference is like debating whether Charles Dickens or Victor Hugo is the greater author based solely on the shitty musical adaptions of their novels.
And before anyone says "You will never be Japanese", I am not a rabid weeb who worships Japanese culture. In fact, I think the West has surpassed Japan and the rest of Asia in most forms of art and entertainment. However it is undeniable that Japanese vtubers are light years better than any others.
