It was a bunch of minigames selected to be silly and fun, and Ollie absolutely would've taken the shot to get in and play with people/support Doki. Doki was having issues finding vtubers to actually join, and said pretty explicitly that some people wanted to join but weren't allowed to. (Likely referring to VSPOen, HoloID/EN, or maybe some JP corpos)
Also both the OP and post I was responding to are talking about Doki, hence the "not terminated" part.
To both people though, the fact that Armis and Regis were at Doki's event but strangely not Ollie is just so fucking weird to me.
Hell, Doki even took that opportunity to kidnap Jurard to quickly fill a spot at Aoi Sakura's tournament because she desperately needed somebody who was gold or below. (Jurard is Bronze). I'd imagine Ollie would've been an earlier choice than him.
