>>30844887In rust, in order to maintain building privilege (authority to build in a certain radius) you have to feed your tool cupboard (large dresser-sized deployable) materials to upkeep your base. If you don't, over time the parts of your base furthest out will decay and eventually break completely. That's why you have to secure the TC in the safest, most defended location in your base otherwise anyone can break it, build over your shit and you basically lose. But unless you're building a massive, ridiculously fuckhuge base (pic related, that was mine on a popular vanilla server) you don't need to feed it very often.
