>>44742863Not really. If anything Luxiem hurt the future waves more than it helped them. The first three waves had a relatively unified fanbase which gradually incorporated the new livers. Luxiem brought in a completely different audience, turned off or (at best) didn't appeal to the original fanbase, and basically made sure this fanbase wouldn't translate to the future waves, while their own didn't either.
Remember there weren't any female livers for two whole waves until Iluna, and most of the girls in Iluna didn't appeal to the old fanbase either. By the time Xsoleil came around, which had more girls that would have appealed to the fanbase NijiEN had been cultivating since LazuLight, the damage was done. Just imagine where Kotoka, Meloco or Maria would be if it weren't for Luxiem.
And now we have the gamer wave, which is all e-sports dudes, and who knows when another wave is going to debut.
