This might be yet another bait thread but I really like the NijiEN girls, all 6 of them. They feel different from anything offered in any other company in how supportive they are of eachother. I think they picked that up from NijiKR/NijiID who operate the same way.
It's funny how much Holo fans act like Nijisanji is just some soulless corporate entity when from what I've seen they act much more friendly and laid back than Hololive does. Not to say Holos are bad but their behavior feels a lot more scripted and can get boring when you've watched them for over a year with almost no change in their stream content or character development.
Now talking specifically about the Obsydia girls I think they did a good job picking up girls that are different enough from Lazulight to appeal to a large variety of niches.
Petra is the seiso professional that serves as a contrast to Finana's autistic coomer personality. She's high spec as a multi-talented jack of all trades that can also bridge the gap between JP and EN fanbases and bring in the rare/underappreciated yumejo audience.
Selen is the tryhard trashtalking competitive gamer that's both different and similar to Elira's chill endurance gaming content. Their gaming collabs have potential to be great and their banter in Twitter and chat is always fun.
Rosemi is a pure unfiltered GFE from a girl that seems genuine in her co-dependency and insecurities and seems like she genuinely admires Pomu as a role model, while Pomu in turn enjoys having someone to rope along in her silly banter and schizo shitposts.
As a second gen debuting shortly after the first one I think they couldn't have asked for anything better. They complement eachother and their senpais well and feel like they've found their footing without much if any growing pains.
