It's pretty obvious that Koyori had no malicious intent against an important segment of her fanbase. It's also obvious that this important segment of her fanbase does not like these kinds of collabs. This is simple just Koyori misunderstand what her audience wants, and I'd say more than half the blame are on the JP unicorns themselves.
