The other threads formed because pcg was spammed with a lot of bullshit so nobody was talking about the actual streams, so some anons just decided to create other threads, who aren't as fast as pcg but are more focused on the actual streams, as opposed to drama. But that wasn't an OP situation, the OP of pcg has remained the same, only new people have been added.
One of the OP wars was because the thread couldn't decide on the "Phase friends" list, adding and removing a bunch of threads. Once Phase became too big, with Gen3, they removed that list for good. The contention now is whether to keep or remove Yuri, the only talent who has left Phase in 3 years.
