I think it's obvious to anyone at this point that Sayu has gone pretty far with negotiations, otherwise she wouldn't have flown all the way out to China to meet with them IRL. Why almost immediately mention the idea of backing out after doing that? Seems like a bad start to a business relationship if she's only contemplating joining.
On the inverse, if she was planning on turning down the corpo, then why did she more or less take back those words about leaving and remain tight lipped on the whole situation since? Her contract is catered to her side right? So no harm at all in being upfront about leaving.
My rrat is Sayu fully plans on joining them for whatever benefits they bring, and only said she was backing out as a spur of the moment damage control for that NOA yab.
