Guys I could use some opinions. I'm working on some predator concepts for Warren but I want to have this scene with an owl and I feel like I'm having a hard time making the owl look intimidating enough. I was thinking about alternatively just having it be a hawk or other generic raptor but the scene is set at night and as far as I know it wouldn't make sense for those types of birds to be hunting at that time. Also the owl/raptor aren't supposed to be black feathered. They'll have normal colored feathers but will be heavily shadowed to contrast the bright red eyes and due to the scene taking place at night.
