>>89855601Long One anon here, I have some spare time so let's get over Wednesday's performance properly this time like I promised in
>>89855601COVER STUMBLES FORWARD
Cover stocks deceptively have a disappointing day despite rising up to 2584 yen (41). Their day overall was going really well, going well beyond 2600 and into the 2700s. However after stabilizing after lunch they would slowly accelerate downward in the last hour. Still today's performance marks another milestone as Cover has now gone up by over a THOUSAND yen since the announcement of adjusting their Q2 forecast on October 29th (They closed out at 1557 yen that day, with the announcement coming soon after.)
They now sit at a nice 106 yen gain for this week, with two more days to go for them. (See last post for Cover's Graph for Wednesday.)
ANYCOLOR COPIES COVER
Anycolor seems to be taking after Cover as they also follow their pattern, but still close out on a gain at 2212 yen (28). Their performance mostly mirrors Cover, albeit on most notably smaller scale. Regardless Anycolor now looks at a very impressive 78 yen gain for this week.
OTHER
The NIKKEI goes out on a whimper with a 0.16% loss.
Sony has expressed intent in purchasing media company Kadokawa, sparking some discussion of them purchasing Anycolor of which Sony currently owns 5.5% of Anycolor shares.
However readers should note that Sony's venture into the industry has cooled down this year with the dissolution of Prism Project this year on March 31st, as well as their other two agencies: VERSEn and VEE merging into just VEE just 2 days after Prism's dissolution on April 2nd.
(I have limited knowledge on how VEE is doing currently however, so if anyone here watches the agency has some insight on how things are going over there feel free to inform us.)
Anyway, that's all for the next 6 hours or so. See you in a bit for the Thursday report.
