>>84010596I'm.. unfortunately not an artist myself so I don't really know what's a good pipeline for producing them but I'll have you know that there is a lot of flexibility on how I can make it work out. For example even if vanilla creatures have 5 frame walk animation cycles I can make it work with just 3 to make it simpler.
These states are:
>walk state (caco in this example doesn't have walking frames)>firing state (usually 1 frame where they ready their weapon, second frame with a flash)>pain state (usually 1 frame)>death state (arbitrary amount of frames)And these have 5 variations from each angle, you can look at the top row in this pic how they're front, front-left, left, left-back and back
If this seems a bit much, keep in mind that if we're making seabuns it'll be much simpler as most of the body can be a flat color orb and some of the features only get shifted around for rotations sprites.
