>>82130052I dont watch JP or most other companies tournaments so I dont have a frame of reference for how much others sweat compared to NijiEN but I think PuyoTetris was the perfect mix of silly and skilled players. Since most of the people who were casual were elimiated as it went on the last few rounds really felt tence since they were playing so fast. Same with Suika, its nice to have some high level play but I think the fact that so many people are participating at once means theres gonna be someone who is kinda just happy to be there and lacking because of it. Maybe if it was a tighter group of maybe 5v5 it could be more serious. Also it could be game choice thats a part of it too. I dont watch any FPS so any of those events are a big blur to me but I think more skill based games like that demand more effort then say a switch family game would make people try and take it more seriously. Hopefully we get an EN fighting game tournament of our own and we get two teams of people who play fighting games to really sweat and go crazy.
